Dr. Gunn was wonderful, unfortunately I was not fully prepared for the discussion about my direction with Empower sleep. I can't accept the information which is pointing me in the direction of C-Pap mask. Coming into the meeting I recognized that could be a potential recommendation; however, I was under the impression more information/diagnostics would be necessary before that recommendation would be appropriate. Dr. Gunn presented me with many other mechanical options, all which seemed to be intrusive into my body's ability to lay down for a night's sleep without some sort of corrective appliance invading my face and space. Like I said I was not ready for that and hoped there would be some other less intrusive options to pursue before reaching that conclusion. I know the answer is to become an Empower Sleep client, based on what I have heard to date I am not sure how that would work other than mechanical devices and ring monitoring. I have a lot of additional thinking to digest before becoming a member. Nothing was wrong with Dr. Gunn's discussion and presentation, I just was not ready to make that decision. I have been very pleased with all my virtual appointment encounters with Nurse Practitioner, Keilah. She is a knowledgable sleep specialist, and has always provided welcome support and encouragement. I appreciate that she values achieving the optimum treatment for my sleep issues, but is also flexible in allowing me to try out varied treatment modalities along the way.

She was very helpful on sharing small side tips and adjusting my machine for me. I really appreciate the fact she listened when I was telling her about my feedback of the CPAP machine; good and not so good.

Very helpful and knowledgeable. Didn't know I was using too big of a mask and that it also was not tight enough. Didn't know I should have been changing the mask more often. Really felt like Narina knew her job well. Best night of sleep I have had in a long time. Thanks is not enough.

It was so nice to meet Dr. Gunn. I was impressed how much she had studied my case thus far. She advised me to keep the ring and keep wearing it every night so that you can continue tracking my sleep and hopefully can get enough data on me over a period of time to help me overcome this insomnia!? Had a rough night last night, tossing and turning and finally just got up after only four hours of sleep. 😴 We discussed my very mild sleep apnea, and I need to look over the different modalities of health there are to choose from.
